Sector

In farming sector having percentage of 34.4% in total population, fertilizers and especially urea fertilizer are important products. Today, there are 8 fertilizer producer enterprises in Turkey.

Current established capacity is; 5,596,900 tones physically, and 2,147,345 tons on the basis of plant food stuffs (bbm). Turkey meets its need of nitrogenous raw material over than domestic production from Independent States Association and phosphate raw material from North Africa and Middle East Countries.
