Position of IGSAS in Sector

IGSAS is a institution that produces ammoniac and urea and composed fertilizer and has capacity to produce 396,000 tons ammoniac, 561,000 tons urea and 220,000 tons composed fertilizer (when construction is completed).

IGSAS will increase physical structure of 12,1% in current established capacity to 13,7% when new composed fertilizer plant having capacity of 220,000 tons starts to operation; and 14,2% to 15,8% on the basis of total bbm.

In 2005, IGSAS has met 17,6% of fertilizer production totally 3,157,574 tons physically. IGSAS is the only urea producer in Turkey, and supplied 43,4% of 836,132 tons consumed for farming in land.

IGSAS has seen fit for 22. International Technology and Quality Award in "Technology Quality and Service Convention" held in Cenevre on April 23, 2001 by its success in elevation of product and service quality by innovations made by it.
