Correct Fertilization
CONDITIONS OF A PRODUCTIVE FERTILIZATION
A productive fertilization can be made by applying the fertilizer in amount and type needed by plant in the best fit time and method.
There are four conditions for a productive fertilization:
- To give appropriate type of fertilizer to plant
- To give fertilizer in amount needed by plant
- To give fertilizer regularly
- To give fertilizer in appropriate time
It is needed to make soil analysis absolutely to provide these conditions.
How is the soil sample to be analyzed taken?
Soil sample to be analyzed must represent the feature of field in which it is taken.
Subjects needed to take care while soil sample is taken:
- No sample is taken during the raining and frost.
- No sample is taken from places on which stem, straw, farm manure are stooked.
- It is needed to accept places having different features in slope, unevenness, color, soil depth as separate part and to take samples separately.
- Samples is not put in bag being wet.
- It is needed to take sample at 10-15 determined different points determined on zigzag lines throughout field. V Holes are opened at determined points. From clean side of these holes, soil segments in 3-4cm thickness and 15-20cm length are taken.
Samples taken by this manner are mixed completely on a cloth or in a bucket, then 1 kg of this mixture is taken and put into sample bag.
Furthermore:
- Address of soil sample owner,
- What will be planted in soil,
- Place on which samples are taken,
- If soil is irrigated or not,
- What was planted the soil last year,
- Type and amount of fertilizer applied to soil is written on a paper and put into a bag, than it is sent to one of the Soil Analysis Laboratory dependent on Agriculture and Villige Affairs Ministry in province or distinct after the mouth of bag is fastened.
